AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE 2010
Immostar and the Proment Corporation receive
the Real Estate Award of Excellence given out by the Urban Development
Institute of Québec
As part of the Montreal Real Estate Forum, the Urban Development
Institute of Québec (UDI Québec) revealed the winners
of the Real Estate Awards of Excellence for the year 2010, awarded
for the innovation and contribution to Quebec real estate projects
substantially completed in 2009.
For the commercial type category, sponsored by Hydro-Québec,
the three finalists nominated were: the Complexe de soccer of Chauveau
Park by the ABCP Consortium – Hudon, Julien Associés;
the Complexe des sciences de la vie of McGill University and La
Place de l’Escarpement 1 by Immostar. The winner was La Place
de l’Escarpement 1, which specifically stood out with its
excellent integration with nature and the whole environment, its
prevailing efforts towards energy efficiency, manifest with its
LEED Gold certification.

The two finalists in the multi-residential type category, sponsored
by Gascon et associés, were: Le 333-Sherbrooke presented
by Cardinal Hardy and Le Vistal by the Proment Corporation. The
winner was Le Vistal, noticeable by featuring their willingness
and vitality, their well studied and elaborate marketing approach,
their openness with buyers and their involvement with the LEED principles,
as well as their creative green financing mode.
